It's been a while again...
I know these pictures are old news. However, for the sake of documentaton, I am posting them anyway.
This is the spoils from our garden this past summer. It was amazing! We received so much produce! It was incredible for such a small space. We really felt blessed!

Thatcher Rides A Bicycle at Just 3 Years Old!!
Hooray Thatcher learned to ride a bicycle. It was so funny because he hasn't even practiced or worked at it. Earlier this week he asked Paul if he could help him ride his bike (which we collected for free from some stranger, another story). He hopped on and started going and that was it. So far he hasn't crashed yet. He must get those skills from Paul. I, on the other hand, had several rasberries on my knees from my learning to ride my bicycle. Crazy boy! He is AMAZING! At least we think so!!

Kennecott Utah Copper Mine
Mandi and Kempton got to spend the day with us before leaving back home to Illinois. We went to the Kennecott Mine. None of us had ever been before. It is really an amazing site. Standing at the edge gave me a little anxiety. I think I'm afraid of heights?!

Our Garden is Growing
We love our garden. Everyday we find another bushel of fresh produce! We have squash and cucumbers coming out our ears! We have already made one batch of pickles and today we are at it again! I love it! There is something so fulfilling about growing your own food and then preserving it for later!

Paul's 30th Birthday
It's technically not Paul's Birthday yet! But, I had a suprise birthday party for him the week before. The theme was Fiesta!! It was very fun and went great! It was a little chaotic getting it all done in time and I was still decorating after guests arrived. Whoops! The only other problem was about 10-15 mintues after the guest of honor arrived, the weather decided to get crazy and we had to move inside. Here are some pictures of the grand event!

Thatcher's New Look...
We gave Thatcher a cut yesterday morning before church. Crazy! We cut off so much hair, we could have almost been candidates for locks of love. I think he looks handsome, of course he's mine! But I must admit I am pretty sad about it too. I miss his hair and I think it makes him look older! Not good!

Let it Snow!!
That's what Thatcher would tell you! He has had a lot of fun this winter playing in the snow! Here are some pics of sledding with Papa and Nani and Snowmachining with Bomp and Daddy! We just spent last weekend in Island Park with Bomp and Gram. It was really great! We huddled up around the fire while we watched the goregeous snow fall outside. We spent time playing games, watching movies, snowmobiling, and just enjoying each other's company! Thatcher spent most of his time sitting out on the deck watching the snowmachines race by. He did this for hours! It was amazing to finally have a break and just hang out together! (Thanks to Jared Hobbs and his grandmother for allowing us to stay at her cabin in Island Park Village!)
Farewell Winter and Hello Spring!!! My Daffodils have already blossomed! Hooray!!

Thatcher's Not So Good Day...
...well depending on who you ask, Thatcher, or his daddy!? Thatcher did some serious painting of our bedroom with a brand new tub of Aquafor. For those who are unfamiliar with this substance, it's an expensive form of petroleum jelly that I purchased just for me and my super dry hands. At work I wash my hands all day long and they are so cracked and sore; so I had just purchased this great new product. It was working very nicely, I might add, until... Thatcher emptied the entire thing, spreading it all over our bed, our room, his clothes and his hair. As you might expect, this stuff does not come out or off of anything, especially hair!! Thatcher was a permanant grease bomb for over a week, despite trying several google search result remedies. These did, however, work pretty well on my quilts and bedding. Thanks Paul for the many hours of research and disgusting clean up, all while I was at work! Thank goodness!! :)
